At Rostron Premium Home Services, we believe a great plumbing installation is about much more than simply installing a piece of equipment. It’s about building a complete system that is clean, reliable, efficient, easy to maintain, and designed to perform for years to come.
Recently, our plumbing team completed a Navien tankless water heater installation in Wall Township, New Jersey, and this project is a great example of the attention to detail and quality craftsmanship we bring to every job.
A Clean, Professional Tankless Water Heater Installation
From the beginning, our goal was to create a professional installation that looked as good as it performed. The Navien tankless water heater was securely mounted on the wall using a diamond-plated backing panel, creating a durable and organized installation while helping protect the surrounding area.
We also installed the proper flushing valves and a descaling filter. These components are extremely important when it comes to maintaining a tankless water heater.
Tankless water heaters require regular maintenance to keep the heat exchanger operating efficiently. Over time, minerals and scale can build up inside the system, especially in areas with harder water. Having the proper flushing connections already installed makes future maintenance and descaling much easier for the homeowner and our technicians.
A quality tankless water heater installation is not simply about hanging the unit and connecting the water lines. The supporting components, accessibility, protection, and overall layout all matter when you’re looking for reliable performance over the long term.
Added Protection for the Home
This Jersey Shore installation also includes several upgrades designed to provide the homeowner with additional protection and peace of mind. One of those features is a leak breaker. A leak breaker is a small device that can make a big difference if a water leak ever develops. The leak breaker is installed near the tankless water heater and works with a water sensor. If the sensor detects moisture from a leak, the system can automatically shut off the water supply to the heater. This helps stop a small leak from continuing and potentially turning into significant water damage. That type of protection is particularly valuable when a tankless water heater is located in a finished basement, closet, utility room, or another area where a small leak may not immediately be noticed.
Navien Wi-Fi and NaviLink Technology
The homeowner also received the convenience of Navien Wi-Fi connectivity. With the Wi-Fi module installed, the system can connect to the Navien NaviLink app, giving the homeowner the ability to monitor and manage their hot water system from a smartphone. Technology like this gives homeowners greater control and makes it easier to stay informed about their system.
Why Installation Quality Matters
When it comes to a tankless water heater, the equipment itself is only part of the equation. Proper installation, maintenance access, water quality considerations, leak protection, and system setup all play an important role in how the unit performs over time. At Rostron Premium Home Services, we take pride in doing the job correctly from the start. Whether we’re installing a tankless water heater, replacing a traditional water heater, servicing a boiler, or handling a larger plumbing project, we believe the finished product should reflect the same level of care and craftsmanship.
