I had a big problem, summer was coming and my AC had not survived the winter. Josh, sales re from Tom Rostron arrived on time to give me a through review of my options for the needed total replacement of my HVAC system. He was professional and thorough. He patiently explained the mysteries and advantages of a heat pump addition and fortunately the equipment provider had a promotional rebate which we were able to take advantage of. Finally we were able to get approval for a 60 month payment plan for the new system. He committed to an installation team within the next ten days. Sure enough, on June 2, promptly on time at 8am the caravan of the team of Josh and the installation team of Sean and Christian arrived with 3 spotless vehicles. Their task was the removal and replacement of the air handler which lived in the attic above the 2nd floor and the condenser which lived outside the house. I couldn't imagine how they were going to be able to do all this work in one day. Sean took on the attic and began the dissembling of the large air handler while Christian took on the removal and replacement of the outside condenser unit. Unfortunately it was a bit overgrown around the condenser, but Christian came with rake, shovel and bucket and left the area looking much better than he found it.Meanwhile Sean is in the attic working in high temperature since unfortunately for him it was a beautiful sunny day. Amazingly during the morning large pieces of the air handler began appearing in the driveway. Not sure how he pulled that off. When the job was done Sean gave me a tour of the new air handler and explained the location of the various components we included in the system. Finally Sean guided me through a tour of the web based app and wall thermostat system which makes the system operation a breeze. Their entire pathway into the house and up the carpeted steps were covered with thick Rostron blankets to protect the flooring. When they left the house was spotless, still not sure how Sean and Christian pulled that job off in one day. They were both very pleasant and professional. After they left around 4pm with all the debris from the job I received a call from Josh checking on how I felt about how the job went. Needless to say I was very satisfied with the how the job was completed and thrilled to have such a quality HVAC system up and running. I recommend Tom Roston and his team without reservation.

The project manager, John Fels was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We discussed the scope of the project and he provided several options and provided immediate quotes. When it came time for the installation Rich, Christian and Garett were very professional and clearly experienced. They worked hard for three days is tight conditions to install the Daikin Fit system furnace, a/c, water heater, electronic dampers and thermostats. On day one the heating was even throughout the house which had never been the situation before. The installers were very neat, covered everything with tarps and left everything as clean as possible at the end of each day. I have dealt with many contractors in the past and have never had such a stress-free experience. I would recommend Rostron Professional Home Services to anyone.

Tom Rostron Company saved the day! On the morning of my daughter's wedding, two (2) of our A/C units both went down with a household of bridesmaid, hair stylists, make-up artists, etc.. After reaching out to many local suppliers, Tom Rostron Company was the only one who truly understood how serious of a problem this was for me. Within 45-minutes of my call, a technician was onsite and totally repair one (1) unit and figured out a way to temporally repair the second. The technician could not have been more knowledgeable and was able to make these repairs with minimal disruption to the wedding preparation. These guys know how to run a business!!!!!

Had a new HVAC system installed by Tom Rostron 9 years ago and it has been running without issue until recently when the blower motor burned out. Could have also been the board, but they couldn't confirm that before replacing the motor and testing. Luckily the motor was covered under a 10 year warranty so that component was gratis. Labor cost to replace the motor ended up being roughly $730/hr. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant, punctual and professional.

Highly recommended! Superior service; pleasant and transparent from start to finish. My initial call for appointment was answered by Chris who was very pleasant and helpful. He scheduled my service for the same day with a workable service window of two hours for the tech to arrive. Ryan was the tech who came to work on the heater. He called to confirm the job and to say he was on his way. He was on-site within five minutes!. They totally stand behind their word. Also, the Daikin/Abco company who made the system went above and beyond in promptly sending replacement parts and working with us and Joe to make the issue right. Still HIGHLY recommend these guys!

I don't even know where to begin! I am over the moon pleased with the professionalism and the overall workmanship of this company! From the get go with John to the two guys who did an outstanding job installing our new system Shawn and Christian! This team was phenomenal and really made sure everything was done properly and they showed up on time. We moved into a home that had a system that was older and we needed to find a way to remedy some of the humidity issues in the home as well. I was referred to Tom Rostron by the painting company we used, so I gave them a call. John called me right away and set something up for that week. I told him my concerns with the basement ventilation and he took an honest approach instead of trying to sell me he showed me. He showed me the vents down there he walked me through the old system. Once we finished I concluded it was time to pull the trigger. I then had an appointment for them to come out and replace the hvac system. I am so thankful that they sent Shawn and Christian, they went above and beyond! When the job was complete Shawn walked me through the system and everything he had done and then some, I am so glad there are still folks like this out in the world as well as companies like this too. I will also be using Tom Rostron for my maintenance plan and have no problem referring this wonderful company to any and everyone! Thank you guys for everything! It was time to replace our mini split system which was installed over a dozen years ago. Josh Holland was our sales contact and we settled on a full replacement system that met the exact needs of our second floor in our reverse build. The system was installed late last fall in less than two days and all the work was clean and professional looking. Our experience with Tom Rostron HVAC was top notch. They installed a supplemental ducted mini split in our attic the upstairs and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. Josh was excellent at helping us decide what would work best for us and helping coordinate the project from beginning to end. The rest of the team and installers (Rich, Mike K and Kyle) were also excellent. Everyone was extremely careful moving things up into the attic, kept the house clean, and installed everything neatly and efficiently. We have been using Tom Rostron for years, and they always deliver top notch service.We just moved into a 5 year old over 55 community and the home has the basic HVAC system. Since both my wife and I suffer from allergies and dust , we had Josh come out for a consultation and with his help we decided on a retro fit for a 4 inch filter, a built-in humidifier and an air purifier. So, after having our ducts cleaned we scheduled the installation. The installer, Randy did a phenomenal job. Professional, Neat and we are now hoping for many years of a better healthy home environment.Highly recommend.

I subscribe to their maintenance service that provides seasonal system check-ups at no [additional] cost, priority emergency services as well as priority in scheduling appointments. After more than a year of this service, I am very pleased. They have lived up to their end of the bargain so professionally. I have always gotten an appointment when I needed it within my parameters; they have always arrived on time; when repairs have been required, they have been very reasonable in price and they had the needed parts on hand; the technicians (the most recent, Joe B) are courteous, professional, and honest. I had one situation where I thought the bearings on my fan were shot. The fan made a terrible squealing sound whenever it ran. I was prepared for an expensive repair. It turned out, a paper label applied by the manufacturer had come loose and lodged itself in the fan housing thus making the noise whenever the fan ran. The Rostron technician found the paper, removed it, and everything was fine. No charge.

Recently our ac stopped working during a horrific heat wave. I called 2 places and was treated quite poorly on the phone. I did a google search and fell upon Tom Rostron Co., Inc. One of the best things that ever could have happened to us. The gentleman,Christopher, really listened to me and my family's medical needs for needing the air conditioning. Our repairman, Ryan J, was here the next day. He was so polite and courteous beyond words. He listened intently to our ac story and went right to work. I had Tom Rostron install a complete new HVAC systems, replacing systems that were 25 years old. I was very impressed and completely satisfied with the job from start to finish. At the first meeting with Joshua H., he explained everything upfront and answered all my questions in a clear and professional manner.The technicians who did the installation were outstanding. They were very professional, knowledgeable, extremely careful and took pride in their work. I rate each one of them 10 stars out of 10:Shawn, Mike K., Christian, Rich and Randy all did a terrific job (especially when considering the terrible heat wave they worked under). They even made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. I can't say enough how satisfied and impressed I am with their workmanship, attitude and overall performance. I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother. Her heat was not turning on from her newly-installed furnace. James C. came to her home and quickly resolved the problem. She said he was timely, polite, and respectful. He assisted her in having a better understanding of the use of her thermostat. She always has a pleasant experience working with this company.

Josh Holland and his team of Michael Randy and Kyle were excellent in their professional skilled and timely installation of my mini duct units. Besides being helpful and friendly, Josh went above and beyond in clear and concise communication with our Historical Preservation Committee in zoom calls and in submission of permit applications.I highly recommend this team for your installation and sales at Tom Rostron

Called someone to fix my ac during a heat wave. First guy came (not from this company) & told me the unit was 20 years old & wasn’t much they could do. Then gave me an estimate to replace the whole system w a price tag of $9k. Before I pulled the trigger I noticed this company w over 400 reviews and 5 stars, figured I’d get a second opinion. Glad I did. They texted updates and came in the small two hour window; calling when on the way, within 5 minutes, diagnosed the issue. Explained the issue clearly, did a minor bit of maintence and left, saving me THOUSANDS in repairs.

From beginning to end everyone was excellent !!Joe Holland was professional , very detailed and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns.The installers , Mike and Kyle worked diligently , focused and respectful of my home space . They were , also, very supportive of each other. When finished, they cleaned up thoroughly. it looked like they were never there.I was very pleased with the job done!!

I don’t typically leave reviews but felt like I had to after the great experience I had with Tom Rostron. Josh made a sales visit after I had some issues with my older system. Josh was a breath of fresh air compared to other sales visits I had experienced from other companies. The whole sales visit felt like there was no pressure and no obligation. Josh clearly explained our options and was extremely knowledgeable of the equipment and very understanding of our needs and wants. Josh was very professional and yet I kept forgetting it was a sales visit because he was so friendly that it was like we’ve known each other forever. Like a friend just stopping over for a chat to see how things are going and giving some friendly advice to help.The day of the install was also great. I was given an arrival time between 8:30-9:00 AM and the team was there right at 8:30. Rich and Mike K were my install crew. They both were extremely respectful of our property and came in with a great attitude. We could hear them in the basement throughout the day whistling, laughing, and just sounding like they really enjoy their job. Their work was phenomenal. Our HVAC system is in our basement in a section we spent a lot of time fixing up into a gym and they not only noticed that, but made all the wires, hoses, pipes as streamlined and as out of sight as possible to blend in with the aesthetic we are going for down there without us saying a word. I am also blown away that they stayed late to finish the job. Even at the end of a long day, they were still in great spirits and didn’t seem rushed to get out of there.Josh had highly recommended a Daikin system for us and he nailed it. Now that it is installed, I feel like my mind is blown on what A/C should actually feel like. My whole life I thought it was normal to have these hot flash moments then the A/C finally comes on and blasts you until you start to freeze. Apparently, that’s not the case. Once it was installed, the Daikin cooled the house from 80 to 74 quickly but my wife and I kept asking ourselves “is it on?” not because we were hot, but because it cooled so comfortably that we didn’t even notice the temperature changes. The whole system is also ultra-quiet, especially the condenser outside. I could barely even hear it on when I was right next to it.I believe that an employee’s attitude and professionalism is reflective of the person running things up front. Based on the great experience that I had with Josh, Rich, and Mike K, it’s clear to see that Tom is good to his people and values good customers. You’re running a 5-star company Tom. We highly recommend Tom Rostron to everyone.
